Dynamics AX Business Consultant – Golabl Supply Chain

My client is looking for a Dynamics AX Business Consultant to join a great team of people and develop IT solutions. With several offices, manufacturing sites, constructions sites and service sites across the UK this is a great chance to be part of an exciting phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will focus on the Global Supply Chain aspect of the business. You will act as the IT Business Lead on various development tasks, as well as play a major part as the company scales up for global reach.
Your tasks will include:
- Responsible for role and access rights in AX Stream
- Contact with stakeholders and super-users
- Project Management/Project Improvement
- 2nd Level Support and coordination of 3rd level support
- Analyse business needs and construct requirements together with the business
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation
Key Skills and Experience
You should ideally have experience in manufacturing and a broad experience with several AX modules such as Production Control, MRP, Warehouse Management, as well as experience in these sub-areas:
- Manufacturing Time Registration
- Quality
- Master Data
- Procurement & Sourcing
- EDI
- Sales Order
It would also be beneficial to have experience with:
- Providing business consulting services in relation to ERP systems
- ERP functionalities and monitoring end-user experiences
- Adapting ERP functionalities
- Vendor Interaction
- Super User engagement
