Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant
A key Microsoft Gold Partner that has focuses on the Manufacturing, Distribution, and Retail industries is seeking a consultant to continue to configure and integrate their AX 2012 R3 systems to D365. They are looking for Finance Consultants with strong proficiency in the core financial modules.
As a Dynamics AX/ D365 Finance Consultant you will:
• Participate in discovery meetings with the client to understand current business that need to be incorporated into AX
• Work with the client to understand legacy data components and identify the appropriate location for such data in AX
• Document mapping of data for conversion by technical staff
• Validate business practices and process in Dynamics AX based on discovery analysis
• Conduct GAP analyses to determine the difference between application and business processes
• Identify creative solutions for processes that aren’t fully accomplished by AX
• Develop and deliver presentations to customers by outlining findings and recommendations to guide the implementation of identified solution
• Translate functional business objectives and critical success factors into Functional documents
• Configure application as appropriate to conform to business process definition
• Train users in hands-on methodology and develop training documentation
• Provide on-going support to end users, assisting with trouble shooting or additional training via email, phone, or site visits
• Maintain and expand client relationships through delivery of high quality services
Your background:
• BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science, or Accounting preferred
• D365 experience
• Experience working with other MS Gold Partners
• Significant industry experience in accounting, manufacturing, or distribution
• 3+ years of Dynamics AX Finance Implementation experience
• Certifications in Dynamics AX
• Ability to travel to provide services to clients; and nationally up to 60% of your time
