This Tier 1 Microsoft Dynamics Consultancy is going through an exciting growth phase and has a plethora of new and exciting projects lined up.  They are looking to expand their Dynamics AX practice and in particular, would be very keen to see people with strong AX 2012, Dynamics AX7/365 skills and ideally experience of the Finance module. They are looking for Mid-level and Senior Level.

In this role, you will be specialising in the implementation of Dynamics AX/365 Finance and will feel confident in talking to all areas of the business. You will be gaining all the latest training, excellent salary and benefits and rapid career growth.

The Role

  • Analysing and recording customer requirements during customer-client workshops
  • Advising and instructing the customer on the best use of Microsoft Dynamics D365 to suit their business requirements
  • Producing appropriate documentation to a high standard according to project methodology and phase
  • Ensuring that the Microsoft Dynamics D365 implementation is correctly configured to provide the processes run as defined
  • Designing Microsoft Dynamics D365 modifications to allow the customer to perform any procedures which have been identified as gaps
  • Presenting to prospects and customers at all levels of the customer business
  • Communicate progress updates to relevant parties both formally and informally
  • Participate in pre-sales activities as requested
  • Support practice development activities such as defining and configuring industry-specific templates
  • Carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by Directors
  • In all activities, ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training
  • Represent the business professionally and positively at all times.


Required Experience

  • Significant knowledge to a demonstrable level of at least one and ideally more of the following:
    • Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 HR
    • Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Financials – Focus for this role
    • Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Trade & Distribution
    • Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Warehousing
    • Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Retail and POS
    • Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365
    • Or equivalent experience on tier-one or tier-two ERP systems in the same areas.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio
  • Significant previous Retail ERP or experience as a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 / D365 Consultant
  • Experience of working with a proven implementation methodology, e.g. SureStep
  • History of implementation consulting within multiple ERP implementations
  • Business Analysis or Business Consultancy experience
  • Desirable:
    • Relevant professional qualifications in Retail or Business Management
    • A substantial and thorough understanding of Microsoft Office and an awareness of the technical components of an ERP environment
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or a similar object-orientated development environment
    • Familiarity and experience with Business Intelligence tools such as SQL Reporting Services and Business Analytics would also be advantageous
    • Understanding or knowledge of retail ERP solutions
    • Experience in Retail, Wholesale or Distribution at different levels
    • A full driving licence is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to clients and colleagues
  • Strong personal organisation and time management skills
  • Committed to personal development in technical, functional and broader consulting skills
